Can the Roadmaster InvisiBrake System Part # RM-8700 Be Disabled by Pulling a Fuse

Question:
I have a 2006 Toyota RAV4 that I was towing behind a Class A motorHome but have since sold the motorhome. I still have the RAV4 and would like to disable the Invisibrake. I am afraid somebody might get cute someday and pull the pin on the break away device and leave me with an engaged brake. Can I just remove a fuse to disable the device and leave the rest of the set up it in place?Or would it be best to remove all or part of the system from the vehicle? Any thoughts would help.

Yes, there is a 20 amp fuse installed on the breakaway system that comes with the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700. If this fuse is removed then the breakaway system will no longer be active and the brakes would not lock up even with the pin removed for the switch.
