Question:

I have a 2022 RAM 1500 Laramie 4X4. If I put on the supplemental brake system, does the toad vehicles ACC power need to be on while towing for the brakes to work and will that kill my battery? I havent ordered anything yet, researching now. Looking at the Roadmaster invisibrake.

Yes, the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System item # RM-8700 you were looking at does need power while your Ram 1500 is being flat towed. It has an air compressor that will be running. The system is run directly to your battery so it will be a keyed off source of power.

You will also want to use the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit item # RM-751000. This display mounts inside your RV and alerts you to when your supplemental braking system is engaged.
