Question:

Is there a lub plate that can be fastened onto the head of the BandW RVK3255 rather than using a removable plate on the hitch pin?

For your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3255, B&W recommends using a 10 inch lube plate like the Reese # RP83002 or the Curt # 16721. This is your best option to prevent scratches on the hitch's skid plate and ease hookup with the trailer. There is not a bolt-on plate like the Reese # 83003 available that will work on the B&W Patriot.

In addition to using the lube plate, B&W also recommends lubricating the polyurethane bushings on top of the pivot arms with high grade lithium grease.
