Question:

I bought a BandW Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs last year 120523159 and I am wanting to buy a new truck . Will this fit in a 2025 chevy 2500 double cab standard bed or a long bed?

Hey Gary welcome back and congrats on the new truck! The B&W Patriot item # BWRVK3255 will definitely work with your 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500. We've got two options depending on whether or not yours has the factory puck system.

If yours has the puck system you'll need the Adapter Rails item # C88KR. This adapter drops right down into the puck system and provides a base with industry standard rails that you can install your Patriot Hitch item # BWRVK3255 on. Please note that this adapter, and others like it, adds 2-1/2" of height to your 5th-wheel hitch when installed.

If you do not have the puck system, I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # BWRVK2505. These brackets are custom fit so they have a no-drill install and are made in the USA. These rails will work with any 5th wheel hitch made for industry standard rails, including your Patriot.
