Troubleshooting Curt TriFlex Brake Controller

Question:

Thanks. I did that and no change. I then disconnected battery and reconnected it. There is no display anymore?

If your Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV is just showing R then most likely you will need to recalibrate the controller. To do this, you can unplug and then plug back in the connector on your trailer. You will know it's recalibrated if ".." appears on the screen.

The next thing you'll want to do is check and ensure your grounds are good because a poor ground can result in a host of different issues. It is also possible a circuit breaker is blown or your wires are damaged or crimped. You will want to go over all of the wiring to ensure they are correct and undamaged.
