Our Sears x-cargo sport 20 roof carrier is not opening. The original key was lost and the replacement was working, but not well. Now that key wont even turn in the lock. We need to replace the core. The key hole is #2806. Do you have what we need and is it easy to do? Thank you

The Sears X-Cargo Sport 20 roof box is technically a Thule product. We don't carry a 2806 Thule lock core but it's possible it can be replaced with a new core and key, part # TH450200. However, some of the Sears boxes do not have replaceable lock cores. Another option that may work for you is part # SR03807 which replaces the entire locking mechanism.
If the key is the problem you need the Thule replacement key, part # THKEYN2806, to match your 2806 lock core.
If neither of these options match what's on your roof box send me a picture of the lock mechanism and I'll see if we have a replacement for you.
