Hello neighbors, welcome back. I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this simple replacement key for your Thule racks and tooling carriers. Now this key is a part number N2808, or THKEYN2808. Now again, this is simply gonna replace a missing Thule key. You can find that the the key number you need if you already know it from maybe another one that you had or you just know it already, great, order the correct one.
Otherwise, I throw up a graphic here, right there engraved onto the end cap of your lock cylinder on your Thule products, you will have a number engraved there. It usually starts with a letter N, and then the number after that. So that's what you're gonna look for. This particular guy is a N2808. You can kind of see it there on the engraving.
And again, you're gonna get one key with this purchase. Again, one key, part number THKEYN2808. I'm Steve with etrailer.com, thanks for watching. Have a good one.

The etrailer site was easy to use and I was a able to get replacement keys for our Sears car top carrier without a problem. Communication from the etrailer staff was excellent. A neighbor decided to throw away their Sears car top carrier and we were in need of one. He tried a dozen or so keys on his ring but couldn't find the one that matched it. I took it home thinking I could drill out the lock and replace it cheaply, but this replacement key worked wonderfully and for under $10 I have a nice new Thule manufacturer unit!

Key worked on my Sears x-cargo. Shipping was fast... Excellent product... Alas. I realized that one of my lock cylinders is damaged so I just ordered the 2 lock 2 key set... The set is not much more expensive than just one key... So you may consider just getting the whole set.. Then everything is new. Happy travels !

I bought a used car top carrier on Craigslist for $50 in great condition. The only problem was the owner lost the keys. I did my homework and saw that etrailer has spare key for cheap. So I bought the car top carrier and order the key. The key shipped out quick and worked great. It was easy to buy the correct spare with all the information and instructions that was on etrailer. If I loose this key, I will buy again.
Ordered on a Sunday and e-mail confirmed that it was processed and ready for shipment that same day. Arrived on the fourth day. That's pretty amazing service!!!
All parts as expected. Keys worked perfectly. Mount and latches to be configured this weekend. Great product description and videos to support purchasing the correct stuff.

recently sold the roof rack, but function perfectly
Product is fine. It’s a replacement key that fits the lock so that is all good. Issue is that to rush the shipping would have been over $50 for a five dollar item so your site isn’t very useful for anything urgent. I have to believe you can do rush shipping for less than that and will probably not buy from you again due to it.
Customer service was great. Resonable price my thule cargo.

It is working great. I almost wasted my container if I could not find etrailer toget the key.
Was the correct key and works great in the lock! etrailer had great information about the lock and replacement key for our rooftop cargo carrier.
I tried two department store key makers, and one specialty key-making business, before I gave up trying to get copies made of this key. Then I noticed there was a number on the original key, did some googling and discovered a few outlets for replacement keys for this roof-top cargo box. Etrailers, came in with the lowest price (including shpg). Etrailers shipped quickly and both keys work great. Etrailers, in general, has been very service oriented over the years and I think I vow to throw a little more business in their direction. Thanks Etrailers!!

The new key still works just fine.
I have been looking for a spare key for my car top carrier for years from local locksmiths. I just couldn't understand why this was such an issue until I went online and saw what I needed from etrailer. I had the spare keys within a week of placing the order. Now I have peace of mind that I can be on vacation and have a back-up if I should loose or misplace the key. .

Lost my key to my travel hardshell top (Sears). After some research found etrailer and ordered my replacement key from them. Why? reputable retailer and good price. The key arrived within a few days and worked perfectly.
Now, what I realized is how easy it is to get a replacement key for the over the roof storage units so I wouldn't store anything of value over night at a hotel while traveling...and be sure to empty the contents when you arrive at your destination. Other than that glad I have my new replacement key!
