Question:

I see that one of your experts recommends the Yakima CargoPack for the Honda Odyssey with a naked roof. My question is will the naked roof straps work with the sliding doors? It looks like it won’t due to the sliding mechanism of the doors having to pass back and forth. Is there a bag with clips and not straps all the way through the vehicle? Thanks!!

Tthere would likely be some interference using the Rightline Gear Sport 2 # RL100S20 with sliding doors like on your 2014 Honda Odyssey and it would not be a recommended fit for its naked roof.

To haul extra cargo with your Odyssey, I recommend installing Draw-Tite hitch # 75270 and then Cargo Carrier # C18150 as well as Cargo Bag # C18210 and Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # 63232. The other option is to install a roof rack, though that will be a more expensive and noisier option. If you are interested in that please let me know and I'd be happy to make a recommendation.
