Question:

will the reese goose box fit in place of a fabex 765 pin box ? pin box is 12 1/2 inches. trailer is 20k capacity.

I do have an option for you, however the Reese Goose Box # RP85FR referenced in your question is not compatible with the Fabex 765 Pin Box on your trailer. We do not currently have a Goose Box available that is designed to replace the Fabex 765 pin box.

To tow your fifth-wheel trailer with the gooseneck hitch on your truck, I instead recommend looking at the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Adapter # CAB-C5G. This particular adapter will not replace the pin box on the trailer, but simply bolt to it so that you can connect to the gooseneck ball in the truck bed. It also features interior polyurethane cushions that will act as shock absorbers for a smooth and safe ride. It has a towing capacity of 20,000 pounds and will work with 2-5/16 inch gooseneck hitch balls.
