Does the Trailer Height Change when Using EZ Flex or Equa-Flex Equalizers

Question:

In the installation video on the EZ Flex, the equalizer it replaced looks identical in size to the one on my camper. How much height did that trailer in the video lose with the EZ Flex....and does the Equa Flex have a taller bolt pattern than the EZ Flex?

The E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # K71-652-00 is designed to fit in place of a specific equalizer, # TREQ104, which is 2 inches tall. When used to replace this equalizer or another with similar dimensions there is no height gained or lost.

Adding height or reducing it cannot be achieved by just changing the equalizers. It would require replacing all of the suspension hangers as well to raise or lower the trailer equally and keep the suspension level.

The comparable Equa-Flex system for up to 6,000 pound axles is # LC279687 which is 2-1/2 inches tall and 5-1/2 inches long so it is not all that different from # K71-652-00. The 6,000 to 8,000 pound axle model, # LC279688, is 5 inches tall and 7-1/2 inches long so it is not comparable to # K71-652-00.
