Question:

My rig is a 17inch GD 303rls. w/5200# axles and the Lippert Equa-Flex, part # LC279687 equalizer w/wet bolts and 3 1/8inch shackles. My question is can I replace my existing equalizer with the road armor part # LC696740 without changing any hangers? The differences in the height and width are small 5/8inch in height and 1/2inch in width. The biggest difference is the length from the center attachment hole to bottom of the road armor is 7 1/4inch and the equa-flex is apprx. 5inch .

Your trailer height might be increased a little bit but the difference in dimensions for your Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687 to the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 isn't significant enough for it to really make a huge difference so you'll be just fine swapping those parts out with each other!
