Stop Light Switch Function and Install for 2018 Chevy Colorado being Flat Towed

Question:
I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR1 that Im fitting up as a towed vehicle. I saw that one of the recommended parts was the Stop Light Switch. What is it and where does it get installed? The description says that it activates the motorhome brake-monitoring system. Im not sure if my motorhome has such a system. Any clarification would be appreciated.

The Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751472 is a fit for your 2018 Chevy Colorado. I attached a link below to the install instructions that detail exactly how it installs. It basically is a switch that activates when the brakes of the tow vehicle are applied so that the braking system can tell the transmitter that your brakes are being activated.
