Tailgate Lock Recommendation for 2018 Honda Ridgeline

Question:
I have the 2018 Honda Ridgeline 2WD RTL-T. I installed a tonneau cover that folds. The tailgate on the new ridgeline does not lock. Yep! Dumb thing Honda did. Does the PAL6102 work for the 2018 ridgeline? Do you have a YouTube video on this installation? How long does it take for me to install? If it does not work for this year and model, do you have any idea how I can secure the bed with the tonneau cover? I travel and would like to secure my belongings in the bed of the truck. Thank you,

For a tailgate lock that is confirmed as a fit for your 2018 Honda Ridgeline we have the Pop and Lock kit part # PAL8600.
We haven't had the chance to shoot an install video for this kit but I attached a set of detailed install instructions down below at the instructions link. It would probably take you a couple hours but that really depends on how quickly you work.
