Do Trailer Tires Need to Have Max Pressure Inflated at All Times

Question:
Good morning! I have Kaufman car hauler trailer with st 235/80 r 16 and my question is : What should be the pressure in the wheels? It’s show me - MAX 80 psi. I put 80 psi , But it’s eating tire on shoulder :

With trailer tires like your ST235/80R16 you have to inflate the tire to the max pressure listed when the tire is cold to ensure you get the full weight capacity for the tire as well as prevent heat build up.
