Can the Ball Coupler Cable Detent be Adjusted on Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck?

Question:

Hi Guys, I have recently ordered and installed this Goose Box and ran into an issue. The ball coupler lock release handle has a detent on the cable. Can this detent be adjusted? Im having a very hard time pulling the handle far enough for the detent to slide into the V lock on the hitch body. Please advise.

On the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR, there is a set screw in the block so it should be adjustable.
