Suspension Enhancement for 2000 Dodge Ram With Gooseneck Bolted to Outside of Frame

Question:

Hello, I have a 2000 Ram 3500 4x4 dually with one of the gooseneck hitches that bolts to the outside of my frame. I need to install air bags and want you professionals to direct me to a good air bag. Most Ive seen wont work if the truck has my type of hitch. Please advise me, I only want to buy bags one time and go to work. Thank you very much.

There is suspension enhancement available for your 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup, but we do not carry any air bags that will work with a gooseneck hitch bolted to the outside of the frame, as you noted was an issue. Your best option would be to use the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR3500, which will not interfere with the gooseneck hitch in your Ram.

These are rubber springs that do not require any type of drilling and will work to increase your truck's stability, reduce body roll and also reduce the sag you experience when carrying a load.
