Can Brakes be Added to Tandem Axle Trailer that Does not Have Them

I have a 7x16 tandem axle trailer that I would like add brakes. Can you help with a conversion kit or options to add brakes?

We certainly can help you install brakes on your trailer, but we'll need to know more about your trailer first in order to determine the best way to go about this. First thing you have to do is check out the axles of your trailer and see if there are mounting flanges on them like in the picture attached. If those are there then adding brakes won't be too difficult. If not, then it's probably a good idea to go with new axles that have them as adding them to an axle is more trouble than it's worth when compared to new axles.
The next step will be to determine what hubs your trailer has so that we can pick out hubs that will fit them and from there we'll be able to pick out the correct assemblies.
