Question:
I would like to avoid using my CRV light system with the Invisibrake. Can I use either magnetic tow lights or wireless lights instead? If so, what is required? Thanks!

There's no reason you can't wire the InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System, part # RM-8700, to a magnetic light kit, like the Roadmaster # TL21RK. However, this will mean the magnetic kit is then attached to the InvisiBrake which is a permanent install. So the magnetic lights will be permanently connected to the CR-V as well unless you cut the wiring each time or find a different way to disconnect them.
To do the install you just splice into the 4-wires on the magnetic kit instead of onto your Honda. However, you want to ground the magnetic lights directly to the vehicle since it won't be using a trailer connector. One thing that might work to keep from having the lights permanent is to use part # HM48235 to run from the RV to the magnetic kit and splice the InvisiBrake in somewhere in between.
There isn't a way for the InvisiBrake to communicate with a wireless system.
Another option to add lighting toyour CR-V that doesn't involve cutting into its wiring is the Hopkins kit, part # HM56304. This kit does install on the Honda and uses its lights but there is no cutting or splicing. It plugs in behind both tail lights. You do need to remove the tail lights and disconnect them but they will be reconnected and reinstalled. I've attached a video so you can see the complete installation process.
