How to Get Female Bike to Sit Level on the Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier # SA805BL
Published 01/17/2018 >
Question:
Have 2014 CR-V Honda. Rack model SA805. Will one male and one female bike fit on the rack as the female bike frame in middle slopes down some? If so, which to load first? Ur video did not show a female bike.

Expert Reply:
Typically you will want to load the heavier or bigger bike first onto any bike rack. The same is true for the Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier # SA805BL on your 2014 Honda CR-V.
Since the female bike that you have does not have a horizontal cross tube (like it sounds like your male bike has), you will want to use an Adapter Bar # SA3040. This will clamp on the handle bar and seat posts of your female bike and allow you to secure it to the Saris Bones 2. These are also great to use for increased ground clearance and to help hold the bike level.
I have attached some review videos for you to check out as well.
