Question:

What is the length from hitch pin to baseplate pin? Do you sell a different heavy duty tow bar that is shorter or do all models have about the same length?

When the arms of the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain # RM-676 are straight out they measure 40-1/2" retracted and 52" extended. This measurement is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the base pin hole. Although there is a little variance in this length, it will only change by a few inches for any given tow bar.

The All Terrain is rated for 8,000 lbs but the BlackHawk 2 All Terrain # RM-422 is rated for 10,000 lbs. This measures 41" retracted and 52-1/4" extended. It doesn't come with all of the wiring that the All Terrain does but it does come with the quick-disconnect bar.

For wiring and safety cables you can use the RoadMaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain Combo Towing Kit # RM-9243-3.
