Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Ram 2500 with B and W Turnoverball Hitch Installed

Question:

Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for BandW Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs I was looking at installing a bandw turn over ball. But i notes et that this will not work with a 2017 ram 2500. Is there another option?

The best solution we have would be for you to install the B and W Turnoverball hitch # BWGNRK1384-5W that you are interested in which is confirmed as a fit for your 2017 Ram 2500 and then for a hitch use a B and W Companion like the part # BWRVK3500 for if you have a long bed or part # BWRVK3400 for if you have a short bed and need the additional clearance a slider hitch provides.

You are correct that the X5 you mentioned cannot be used with your year Ram truck.
