Question:

Can you tell me if this baseplate would be suitable for a ford F-450? It appears as though they could replace the front towing hooks. Thanks

The Blue Ox Universal Bolt-On Adapter Tabs - 20,000 lbs # BX88266 are not a confirmed fit for your vehicle, but I've attached a photo of the dimensions of the bracket to allow you to compare fit with tow hook location. The base mounting holes are 5-1/2 inches on center by 2 inches on center.

There is not a custom fit for a Ford F-450 truck from any of our manufacturers. Based on the vehicle weight, you should be able to flat tow it with the correct equipment. These Universal Adapter tabs may be exactly what you need, yet may require a bumper mount or other customized mounting. They do come with the necessary hardware and backing plate.
