Question:
I need a wrench to remove a 2 5/16inch hitch ball. The threaded part is 1 1/4inch diameter. The nut is just a bit over 1 3/4inch I assume 1 7/8inch would work. Do you sell this?

Expert Reply:
We do offer a 1-7/8-inch socket # ALL643216 that fits a 3/4-inch drive socket wrench. Since hitch balls need to be torqued to a specific rating I suggest you use a calibrated 3/4-inch torque wrench to re-install the hitch ball. Proper torque is required for the hitch ball to meet its specs.
