I asked about the equalizer hitch for my attitude 27cbg toy hauler.. I know the equalizer system comes w a shank but wanted a heavy duty shank w a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 body for my receiver so I dont have to use my sleeve for the receiver opening.. Which heavy duty one do you recommend.. I was lookikg at the curt 1500/15000 shank.. Attached is a pic of my old one I snapped.

The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 10" Rise/6" Drop - 600 to 1,600 lbs TW # EQ90-02-4900 will be a great choice for your 1400 lb system and will work just as well as the Curt shank # C17131 while keeping the same brand which isn't required but is preferable. You shouldn't have any trouble with this shank when correctly used with the Equal-I-zer # EQ37140ET system which is the largest Equal-i-zer system available.
