Which Chevy and GMC Trucks Have the Side Mirror Temperature Sensor

Does the 2017 Sierra 1500 SLT with heated and turn signal mirror have a temperature sensor in it?

No, the 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 did not come with the temperature sensor in the passenger's side mirror. The temperature sensor is only present on models with the V8 Duramax engine from 2014+. Since the 1500 models did not come with the Duramax engine you do not have this sensor.
Therefore, if you are looking for a set of replacement towing mirrors then the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors part # KS62135-36G would work well for you. These towing mirrors offer a simple installation (4 bolts) and up to 22-1/2" of extension while fully extended.
