Question:

I recently purchased a B and W turnover ball in bed hitch and need an airbag system that is compatible for a 2014 silverado Z71. Please advise.

For a set of airbags that will work with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1057 installed on your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500, I recommend using the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2430 as this is the only available airbag kit that will work with a 5th wheel and or gooseneck hitch to my knowledge. The mounting plates for the gooseneck hitch mount on the outside frame rail and the airbag kit mounts underneath the frame rail on the bump stop bracket, therefore will work well with one another.

Using a set of airbags are an excellent way to maximize safe load-carrying capacity, increase stability and improve ride quality while towing. In order to operate the airbags from inside the cab, I recommend using the Firestone Air Command I part # F2158.

I have included an installation video of both the airbag and compressor kit installed on a similar Chevy Silverado for you as well.
