Tongue Extension Availability for Use With the 3 x 5 Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit

Question:

Do you sell the extension to fit your 3x5 inch bolt on boat trailer tongue extension hinge unit. I want to buy the hinge and a 4 foot long 3x5 inch rectangle extension tube pre-tapped to fit said hinge coupling.

To install the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit for 3" x 5" Tongue # FHDPB350101 you will simply need to cut your current trailer tongue so that you have the desired length that is foldable (see attached customer photo). Because of this we do not have any extension for your trailer tongue or one that is pre-tapped.

The hinge has a max weight rating of 9,000 lbs but that all depends on where the hinge is installed. You will want to use the attached table to help you determine how or if the hinge affects the weight capacity or tongue weight of your trailer.
