Replacement pin boxes like the excellent Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778 are designed to replace the existing king pin on your trailer. This means that in order to choose a compatible unit, you will first need to locate the pin box number on your trailer. This is usually displayed with a sticker or stamped into the pin box itself. If you are unable to find this information, you can also contact your trailer manufacturer with your VIN and they can provide you with this information.

You mentioned a couple of pin box numbers in your question. If you do have the Lippert 1621 pin box, the Trailair # LC158778 mentioned above will be a great option. This air-ride-equipped unit features an internal air bag and a built-in strut that will help to absorb road shock. This is a great cushioned pin box and also has a weight capacity of 21,000 pounds.
