We have a 2018 Shasta Oasis 18Bh and a 2017 Honda Pilot AWD Touring w/ factory tow package. Wondering what weight distribution hitch with sway assist is the best option?

Your 2018 Shasta Oasis 18BH has a hitch weight of 349 lbs dry weight. When you look for a compatible weight distribution system, you want to consider the total tongue weight of your system. This includes the loaded tongue weight of your trailer as well as any cargo behind the rear axle of your towing vehicle. Each weight distribution system will have a range that is allowed for this total tongue weight rating and we just want to fall within that range.

For your application, I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion # FA92-00-0800. This system is rated for 0 to 800 lbs total tongue weight and will also give you a great sway control by using metal on metal friction. This system is easy to install and simple to use. It has brackets that fit over your trailer frame and are adjustable around your propane tanks and other equipment in the same area on your trailer frame. I've attached a video to assist.

You will need either a hitch ball like # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch option or # A-90 for a 2 inch diameter ball to match your trailer coupler.
