For a wall mounted winch, I'm not clear if you mean a trailer wall or a garage wall, so I'll give you an AC option and a DC option for power.

For an AC option, I recommend the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch w/ Pulley Block, AC Powered - 2,700 lbs # DL24876. This will have the strength to pull your 300 lb generator up even a steep ramp incline and has the ability to double your line and use the pulley block for smoother and controlled pull/lowering.
