Question:

I plan on mounting on my trailer to pull logs about 10 foot long up to 20 inch diameter, will this be suitable for this use?

Yes, you can pull logs with the Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch # BDW15017.

The # BDW15017 comes with a wire rope with a hook on the end that you can wrap around the logs, and also has a remote control you can use to operate the winch from up to 20 feet away.
