I have a Companion turnover hitch from my 2012 Chevrolet 2500. Can I purchase the RVK3700 and use the head from my existing setup?

Yes, you can take the head of your current B and W Companion hitch and install it on the leg kit part # BWRVB3700 and you'd then basically have the part # BWRVK3700 which is the correct hitch for the rail kit of your 2017 Chevy Silverado.
