Question:

Hello, I have 2014 F250 4x4 diesel short bed. I have already installed the Bulldog/Drawtite Hide a Goose hitch. Will I have to remove the side plates in order to install either the Air Lift or the Firestone air helper springs? Price between those choices is similar, so ease of installation since I did not have the air springs installed first could be the deciding factor. Part number confirmation is also desired. I see compatible product as the Air Lift #88396 and Firestone 2597 or maybe #2535

For your 2014 Ford F-250 with a Hide a Goose hitch installed the air bag kit you want is the Firestone part # F2597 because it was designed to fit with gooseneck hitches installed like what you have. The Air Lift may work, but it's never been tested so I can't guarantee the fit like I can with the Firestone.
