Finding Bearing Buddy for 2007 EZ Loader Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a 2007 EZ Loader model EZWB 14 18-2100 w/oil bath caps. I would like to switch to bearing buddy caps. What is the correct cap diameter?

In order to determine what size Bearing Buddy will work on your EZ Loader Boat Trailer, you will want to locate the outer bearing number for your existing hub. This is the most accurate way to determine the correct Bearing Buddy. For example, the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS will work on hubs that use the # L44643 or # L44649 outer bearing.

Another way to find the correct Bearing Buddy is to measure the inner diameter of your hub bore. I recommend using a digital caliper like # PTW80157, as the measurement will need to be exact.
