Question:
I have a Ford F-150 4door with 8 foot bed with a receiver hitch installed. I tow a 20 foot Coachmen travel trailer twin axle without electric brakes. It uses an equalizer hitch with 2 equalizer bars and no sway bars. The Trailer requires a 2 5/16inch ball. I have lost the head assembly that slides into the receiver hitch. Do you sell a suitable replacement that will work for me?

Since the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution (WD) friction bars feature a 4-point sway system you will not have to worry about anti-sway bars. We do have a selection of Equal-i-zer WD Replacement Heads that you can choose from you will just need to select the one that corresponds to the weight range of the bars that you have. Here is our selection of Equal-i-zer WD Heads:
400 lbs - # EQ90-02-0400
600 lbs - # EQ90-02-0600
1,000 lbs - # EQ90-02-1000
1,200 lbs - # EQ90-02-1200
1,400 lbs - # EQ90-02-1400
For a 2-5/16" hitch ball you will want to use part # EQ91-00-6140 as it has a 1-1/4" shank and is rated for up to 1,400 lbs. A thin walled socket # ALL643216 might be needed to install the hitch ball onto the Equal-i-zer hitch head.
If you are also needing a shank, like part # EQ90-02-4400, I have linked our selection for you to filter through according to your hitch receiver opening size and the amount of Rise or Drop that you require for a level setup.
