Where Does Rubber Bumper Install in Reese 16k Fifth Wheel Hitch
Published 08/23/2017 >
Question:
The bumpers on my 5th wheel hitch older Reese 16k have come off and been lost. I have bought replacements, but cant decide if they should go on the front or back of the hitch? From the looks of things, the hitch has been hitting on both the front and back rail, so I am thinking I need a total of 4 bumpers, 2 on the front rail and two on the back. Is that correct? Thanks,

The Replacement Rubber Bumper for Reese Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # 30536, attaches to the head with a screw that gets pressed down through the top of it and then is attached on the underside of the head with a nut.
I have provided links to the installation instructions for this item that shows how it is put together.
If you needed the screw and nut you could get a Replacement Fifth Wheel Bumper Installation Kit for Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese, part # 58089.
