Can I upgrade my existing 15K fifth wheel hitch to 20K by replacing just the upper portion of the hitch?

We have spoke with Reese and Pro Series about this in the past and you can replace the head of your 15k hitch with the # 30118 for Pro Series and you will essentially be upgrading the hitch to a 20k fifth wheel hitch.
The Reese sliders like the part # RP50024 and # RP30048 have 20k capacities.
