Question:

I own a 2000 honda crv with rear exterior spare tire. I want to purchase a hitch and bike rack that will clear the spare tire. Due to my bike design the bike rack needs to secure the bike at the wheels not the frame. I am having trouble finding a rack that will fold up and clear the spare tire. The bike rack that will work perfectly for you is the Saris SuperClamp part # SA4025F. This bike rack will clear the spare of your 2000 Honda CR-V and only touches the bikes at the tires so it works great in that regard as well.
