Where to Find Brake Controller Install Port on 2014 Ford F-150

Question:
I want to be able to remove the panel to plug in the brake controller for F150 Ford-2014. You say to carefully remove the panel. Is that panel the long panel where there is an empty slot and 2 other things.My undersanding the plug in is behind the empty slot. Is that correct?

Brake controller wiring harness # 22292 plugs into the built-in connector beneath your vehicle's dashboard. To access this connector, first locate the instrument cluster finish panel in the center of your dash, near the driver's side. Carefully pry the panel out and undo the locking tabs to remove the panel. Plug the adapter into the mating connector in the large gray housing behind the panel.
I have included pictures that should help you with the location of the factory connection point.
