Question:

I want to order hitch lock Y07235. I would like the cylinder to match SKS key I have now. Can you do this?

You can key the Yakima HitchLock, part # Y07235, the same as the Yakima SKS key you have now.

What you will need to do is get the lock number that is stamped on the front of the Yakima lock cylinder that you already have and enter that lock number in the key number box on the product page I have provided a link to. Then, enter the quantity you want and click add to cart. This will get you a lock core(s) that will match the SKS key you have now.

To remove the core on the Yakima hitchlock # Y07235, and replace with the replacement lock core that will match your SKS key, you will need to use the Yakima Replacement Control Key, part # Y8007835. This key is used to remove and insert a lock cylinder from any locking Yakima product.

Use this control key to remove the lock from the Yakima hitchlock and insert the new lock cores. Now you will be able to unlock the Yakima hitchlock with the SKS key you already have.
