How Do You Attach Spring Bar Chains to Chain Hanger Brackets # RP58305
Updated 05/24/2017 | Published 05/23/2017 >
Question:
How do you properly hook up the chain to the bracket hook? I see the other hangers you have to use a pipe as leverage to push up the chain to make it as tight as possible., but with the bracket, it doesnt have that design.

When you use chain hangers such as # RP58305 in place of the regular weight distribution brackets you will need to use the trailer jack to mount/remove the bars. Basically you will couple the trailer to the tow vehicle then use the jack to lift up the trailer and rear end of the vehicle some. This will allow you to manually hang the spring bar chains to the brackets.
