I have an L14-30 plug generator, is this what would work to convert that to the 30A on my camper? i ask because it states in the description that it is 4 Prongs for L-14-50 locking plug receptaclefoot and an L14-50 plug is a 3 prong. just want to make sure, i have ordered the wrong one a few times now on accident.

It sounds like you need a 4-prong twist lock connector. We have two; # A10-G30430VP or # CAM55382.
If I completely missed it and you need a 3-prong then you would need one of the following:
# CAM55272
# A10-G30330VP
