Recommended Mounting Location of Firestone Command F3 Compressor System # F2581

Question:
I purchased the Firestone 2581 Air Command from you along with the mount kit 2588. What would be the best mounting location for this system? Will I need to add a snorkel for the air inlet?

When using the No-Drill Mount Kit # F2588 to mount the compressor and electronic control unit (ECU) of the Firestone Air Command F3 Compressor System # F2581, you will simply select a location that is solid and secure on the body/frame of your Silverado 3500, trying to avoid areas that are not protected from debris and moisture.
You should only need to snorkel the air inlet filter if the compressor will be mounted to an exposed, wet location. Otherwise the air filter will attach directly to the compressor.
I have attached the installation details for both the Compressor System and Bracket, as well as a helpful installation video for you to check out.
