Question:

Hello. I searched your site pretty well and I am looking for an inner gooseneck coupler tube that is 4.5inch outside diameter. I would prefer the one the locking mechanism that is low to the bottom of the tube. I am attempting to lower the front of the trailer as my 3500 truck sits high. My existing inner tube measures 4.5. Is there any issue with cutting your inner tubes to shorten them?

We have one gooseneck coupler inner tube that is 4-1/2 inches in diameter: # BD0287690300. You could trim the coupler some but on a 33 inch tall coupler like this if you wanted to shave off like 20 inches that would be way too much. How much are you needing to trim off? I can run the amount by my Bulldog contact and see if it is acceptable.
