Im looking for a gooseneck receiver that has a wider flange so you don't need to be exactly on top of the ball.

There is one gooseneck coupler with a wide flange that is also the easiest to hook up to your gooseneck ball, which is the B&W Defender Locking Gooseneck Coupler. Not only is the coupler base a full 6 inches in diameter, it is also a funnel, as you can see by the accompanying photo.

The funnel means you do not have to be right on top of your gooseneck hitch ball, it only needs to be within 2 inches of the ball to hook up. The coupler can be had with either the inner and outer tube, or just the 4 inch inner tube:
