Question:
I searched for a 2005 BMW 325 CI and there was no ion for 05. Will the hitch part #C11174 work. I have a Thule Bike platform carrier fits 1.25inch receiver. Thule model # 9044. Please advise if it will work. Thank You.

Since your vehicle is a convertible we don't have a hitch for it. We do have trunk mounted bike racks that will fit your vehicle though.
I like the Thule OutWay # TH45JV because this rack is the absolute easiest and fastest to install with only 2 retractable coated cables. It folds for storage, features adjustable arms to accommodate loading different sizes of bikes and because it includes locks for the rack itself and for your loaded bikes.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
