How Should I Align my Westin E-Series Nerf Bars on my 2010 Dodge Ram

Question:

Your advce was a great help in deciding on weston-e nerf bars they are pretty strong.What is the proper alignment for them.I installed them even with the truck body 1/2 in. in front and rear? But from the ground measured to the bars the front is 10 in. and the rears is 11 inches. what is the correct way.I know its an individual preferance but i dont want to keep moving them, Your advice has been very helpful. i have a dodge ram 2010 reg cab truck

The reason the measurement is higher in the back than the front of your Westin E-Series Nerf Bars - 3 inch - Polished Stainless Steel, part # 23-3540, on your 2010 Dodge Ram is because most trucks will sit up a little higher in the back than in the front.

If it was me I would have them aligned parallel to the truck like you do currently, but like you said, it is personal preference.
