Specs:
The step pad areas in Westin's E-Series round nerf bars are indented instead of cut out, maintaining the structural integrity of the stainless steel tubing and preventing internal corrosion.
As shown in the image above, these step bars have a U-style tubing, which ensures that each bar conforms perfectly to your vehicle. Installation is quick and simple - just bolt the mounting brackets to existing holes in your truck's frame. No drilling is required.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Westin line of e series round nerf bars. So, whether you're looking for an easier way to get in our out of your vehicle or just add a nice stylish look to them, our Westin e series nerf bars are going to do a great job.Our e series nerf bars are going to come in two colors. We're going to have black as well as the stainless steel. The black ones are going to be made out of steel and they're going to have a powder coat finish. The polished ones are going to be made out of stainless steel and, again, have that polished look to them. Now, both of them are going to be extremely rust and corrosion resistant. The curved ends on the nerf bars are going to blend in nicely with the body, opposed to some of those that just come and abruptly stop. So, they're going to give us a really nice, streamlined look.
They're going to have that classic three inch round design, giving us enough room to have a step on, but not too much bulk to where it's going to add too much to the bottom of our vehicle. Each one of our bars is going to have a step for each entry point, so the driver and all passengers will have a secure footing when getting in and out. Each one of our pads is going to measure 21 inches long by 3 inches deep. It's going to be made out of a durable polymer so it's going to resist UV rays, fading, and cracking. Our tube steps are going to have an indention in them right where the pads are, rather than being cut out, that way they keep their structural integrity and we know they're going to be nice and strong. Our bars are going to be a custom fit, so be sure to check etrailer.com's fit guide for your application. They're going to come with two bars and all the necessary hardware to get them in place. The brackets that bolt underneath are going to be made out of steel with a black powder coat finish, so they're going to resist rust and corrosion as well and, no matter the color of the vehicle, it's going to blend in nicely underneath.A big question you might have when looking at steps is what is the big difference between all of them We're going to have a traditional step which is going to be a single step that typically bolts underneath. Now, the upside to that is it is going to help you get in and out of your vehicle. The downside, however, is is we're going to have to get one for each entry point. Then we'll have nerf bars which like we have here, which is going to be a bar that runs typically the length of the cab and it has a step pad at each entry point. Now, the big benefit of those is that it's one piece and we're going to still have that entry point and a pad to help us get in and out.And then we're going to have running boards. Now, the big difference between running boards and nerf bars is that running boards are still going to be that bar but they're going to to have a pad that's going to run the entire length so including the part where we wouldn't use between the two doors.
Which, that's really going to come down to style preference, if you like the nerf bars or running boards. That'll finish up your look at the Westin line of e series round nerf bars.

My son suggested I order from etrailer because he had dealt w/them before w/very good success. The running boards came yesterday afternoon. VERY well packaged w/banding & bubble wrap. They were in very good condition w/all necessary hardware to install. After unwrapping took him, my son, approx 45 min to install w/hand tools & an air impact on the ground in driveway. Instructions were "adequate" but a simple video I found online helped - We learn better by seeing. These boards are high quality, fast delivery & VERY good experience dealing w/etrailer.
Installation kit was amazing and everything lined up perfectly.
They are holding up very well. I got the stainless-steel ones this time as the others rust from New England weather.
Shipping was fast and nerf bars were in perfect shape. Installation was easy. The bars look great on my truck and are easy to use when getting in or out. I would suggest that anyone installing these on a 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Classic like mine remove the factory bolts on both sides while they are easiest to get to. I had to use a breaker bar as they are tight. I would also suggest to only engage 3 or 4 threads on the bolts that you have to fish through openings. I broke the supplied fishing wire on my first hole as I screwed it onto about ten threads and had trouble removing it when the time came to take it off the stud. Luckily, I was able to make another one from a similar sized spring I had on hand.
Why a 4? Because of a minor dent due to shipping, and I had to modify the parts to mount to the vehicle. Everything was there but mounting instructions did not do the best job of mounting the unit. Using the parts in the kit I was able to modify the procedure making for a better end product. Outside of that nice looking step bar and they have held up well so far.
I installed the 23-4010 nerf bars on my GMC Canyon Crew Cab SLT. Installation instructions from Westin were missing a few details that the etrailer installation video shows.
The nerf bars are polished stainless steel, but the are NOT protected by a clear coat. They will required polishing with a metal polish to keep them looking great. I rated them 4 stars due to no clear coat.
The first set delivered was shipped in just the Westin box & was damaged by UPS. etrailer promptly sent out a replacement set that was doubled boxed & arrived in good shape. Hopefully etrailer will double box in the future.
Very fast delivery time. The product arrived in perfect conditions; and works as expected. Excellent customer service
Everything went smoothly from ordering to installation. I’ve been very happy with everything I’ve ordered from etrailer.
The Nerf bars were easy to install. Each side took me 10 minutes. The instructions were very good and easy to follow
nerf bars are perfect.
Shipped fast and arrived in great condition, was very easy and quick to install, look great on my truck and a very welcomed addition compared to my last truck steps.
The Westin 23-3700 Nerf Bars look great on my 2014 Chev
Silverado.Installation was very easy and took about 45 min.
Great quality.Excellent support and delivery from Etrailer.
Had Westin step rails (nerf bars) on an old Ranger and got them for my new F150. This time I needed them to be able to get up into the rig (full-size pickups have gotten a lot bigger and taller in the past few years!). They installed easily, look good, and gave me the step I needed. I am as pleased with the latest step rails I got as I was with the old ones (which are now 21 years old and still functional … but not as pretty).
They look nice, but two of the coupling nuts stripped and the instructions called for 1.75” bolts which the ones included were 1.0”. Luckily Home Depot had replacement couplings and bolts, so in the end got them installed. Beware if you are installing on an OBS Ford. Other than that, looks great.
When I get them installed, in a couple weeks, I’m sure they will accentuate my new paint job. If I ever get my “Hood Shield”,ordered since June, it will complete my overhaul.
Just replaced my old Westin nerf bars with these new ones! My old ones was 30 years old. These new ones should out last my truck!! Bolted right on. Look good! Very sturdy. Good price very fast shipping!!! Only problem I had to rethread nut in tube. Threads was messed up but I got it fixed. All good!!
Fixing up the 2009 F150 regular cab that had Westin Nerf Steps from the factory. We gave it to our granddaughter for her 16th birthday. Somewhere over the years she had hit a pylon at a service station Badly damaging the step. Everywhere I looked showed it to be discontinued. Came across the etrailer site showing it. Called to confirm the fitment, Sara from customer service went out of her way calling Westin confirmed it was discontioned but asked if they might have some stock. They did received it in 2 days.
The rear mounting rail bracket for this product unfortunately aligns with a dip in the Bronco frame rail due to the Bronco's shorter wheelbase (front to rear). I was able to drive the bracket on with a big hammer and we'll see if it stays where put over time. For the Bronco's, if you made thee rear swing bracket 2 inches longer, the mounting bracket would then land in level part of the frame as it does with the F-150. I could not mount the rear bracket further back due to the leaf spring mount being in the way.
Well, it seems that the directions included are: 1. Missing a page or two; offer virtually no help in installing because what photos are included are poor B&W, 2.There are no videos on your site nor the Westin site that show how to install these ON MY TRUCK, 3. Using some videos I found online posted by customers who care enough to help I installed them; however, the bars hang too low at the rear (not parallel with the body, front to rear), making the bars look terrible. All the pieces were there and were in very good condition. I will need to modify the installation with spacers, maybe a better-positioned hole or two. Good customer satisfaction depends upon the product and the instructions and tips. The product seems good. The customer satisfaction via the directions/tips is awful.
A quality set of nerf bars at a reasonable price. Installation was simple as well. Customer service during the ordering, delivery and follow up is second to none. The nerf bars helped bring an old truck back to life with some shine!
Nerf bars came quickly. They were packaged well and secured in the box. All the items were marked for side and location. They did look good and welds looked good.
These replaced a powdered coated pair of Nerf Bars that we had gotten new with the truck. After 7 years and that many winters where mag chloride is used on the roads, the originals were pretty much a hunk of rust. These stainless steel ones look sharp on our RAM 2500. And I’m sure they will do the job as the first pair did.
I made the mistake of thinking the picture on your website matched the item number and ordered the wrong product. The 23-3540 is for a reg cab and I needed one for a crew cab. I talked to your customer service department and made arrangement for a switch that turned out to satisfy both me and your company. I should be getting the correct side steps in a few days.
