Can you tell me the actual inside width of the hanger?

If the outside width of hanger # E4139 is 2-5/16 inches and the metal thickness is 3/16 of an inch then you would take 2-5/16 and subtract 3/16, and then subtract another 3/16, to get 1-15/16 inches. It is meant to be used with leaf springs that are 1-3/4 inches wide. I made a picture showing these measurements for you.
