Leaf springs can make a trailer bounce and rattle when it’s empty or loaded unevenly. The Timbren Silent Ride suspension replaces those with Aeon progressive-rate rubber springs that absorb road shock and flex based on weight. They compress and get stiffer as load increases, so the ride stays smooth and quiet whether the trailer is empty or fully loaded.
Uneven roads can throw a trailer off balance. The Silent Ride system uses a single-pivot walking beam to equalize load between both axles on a tandem setup. This keeps all tires in contact with the ground and helps the trailer stay level across bumps, dips, and ruts.
When turning with traditional leaf springs, one side sags while the other lifts, causing lean and sway. The Silent Ride’s pivoting suspension arms let each side move independently while keeping the load balanced. The result is steadier cornering and less body roll, even when cargo sits off-center.
Built from heavy-duty steel with a rust-resistant powder coat finish, this system is made to handle up to 7,000 lbs of total weight capacity on tandem 3" round axles. Fitted rubber bushings keep the control arms engaged at all times, reducing wear points and keeping the suspension working smoothly mile after mile.
The Silent Ride system installs on a 2" x 4" hollow steel crossmember with 3/16" wall thickness (not included). It’s virtually maintenance-free once mounted—no greasing or adjustments needed—and carries a 5-year limited warranty plus 10 years on the rubber bushings and springs for long-term confidence on the road.

The new suspension is working perfectly. 100 recommend. No springs for me.

So far all is great! The highways around here are in horrible condition. My trailer has the straight high brush fenders so you can see the tires and axles in the side mirror as you drive. Those tires are jumping like crazy on the rough pavement, but the trailer body is so smooth the cows think theyre riding in a Cadillac!

After a year and approximately 8k mi on the suspension, the Timbren Silent Ride seems strong. The silent aspect of this suspension is no longer silent after things have broken in but not nearly as squeaky as the leaf setup. My stock 2-38” axle beams are slightly bent up at the ends so I’m in the process of upgrading those to 3”. I would also like the next step up in springelastomer but can’t justify the price north of $500 for the 4 rubber springs. When loaded I only have about 1-34” up travel currently before axle bottoms out on frame. My only complaint or recommendation would be for future designs to enable more suspension articulation and up travel capabilities.

I'm glad these improved the ride for you Cody, and the install looks good too! What are you usually hauling?
